How to fix links in the email that do not open?

When you open the links sent from VisionaryX, they direct to email.mg.yourdomain.com, which is the Mailgun subdomain you’ve set up for your domain. This is necessary for us to track email statistics, such as opens, clicks, and unsubscribes.
The CNAME record you configured with your domain provider is crucial for Mailgun to track these metrics. The CNAME record for email.mg.yourdomain.com must point to Mailgun.org, which allows Mailgun to fetch the data and display the email statistics.
If you’re encountering an error like “This site can’t be reached” or “email.mg.yourdomain.com refused to connect” when trying to access the link, it indicates that the CNAME record may not be set up correctly.
This indicates that the CNAME record might not be set up correctly.
Here’s how to verify:
-
Copy the highlighted CNAME (e.g., email.mg.yourdomain.com).
Depending on the subdomain you configured with Mailgun, check for the corresponding CNAME:
-
If you set up mg.companyname.com, search for the CNAME record for email.mg.companyname.com.
-
If you set up replies.companyname.com, search for the CNAME record for email.replies.companyname.com.
-
If you set up support.companyname.com, search for the CNAME record for email.support.companyname.com.
-
Visit either MX Toolbox or WhatsMyDNS to look up the CNAME record:
-
MX Toolbox: https://mxtoolbox.com
-
WhatsMyDNS: https://www.whatsmydns.net
-
If it shows DNS records not found:
a. Log in to your domain provider.
b. Go to the DNS records section and ensure the CNAME record is correctly set.
-
If the CNAME record is already pointing to mailgun.org:
a. Go to Mailgun -> Click on the Sending tab on the left -> Select Domain Settings.
b. Edit the Tracking Protocol settings.
c. Send another test email from VisionaryX to verify if the issue is resolved.
5. If the steps above do not resolve the issue, please reach out to your domain provider’s support team for further assistance. You can provide them with the following details to help them add the necessary records:
6. If the domain provider verified all DNS records are good to go,
