How to Purchase a Phone Number in a Sub-Account

Grasping the process of acquiring a phone number is essential for the smooth functioning of your business. This guide will walk you through each step involved in purchasing a phone number within a sub-account for your business.

Step 1: In the top-left corner, click on the account switcher to select the sub-account where you’d like to purchase a phone number. Simply search for the desired sub-account and choose it.
Step 2: After switching to the sub-account, go to the Settings section.
Step 3: Select the “Phone Numbers” option.
Step 4: Click on the “+ Add Number” tab to add a new phone number.
Step 5: Choose the country where you would like to purchase a phone number.

If the desired country is listed but not available in the system, you can purchase the number directly through the Twilio console for that location. (Applicable only to Agencies using Twilio as the default telephony provider). -
Note: A regulatory bundle or address will be required if your agency is located outside of the USA or Canada.
You can also use the filter option to search for your desired numbers based on specific first or last digits. This allows for more precise selection of phone numbers tailored to your preferences.
Once the process is complete, you will see that the phone number has been successfully purchased and added to your account.
